(3) … AND KNOW WHEN TO RELAX
All things change. It has been said that we never step in the same river twice. The current flows with small but continual changes in water, rock, and sand. Remembering that things inevitably change can help us to be patient when we need to reconsider our assessments or wait for the right time to take action. It is during those periods, sometimes just prior to taking action, that we are able to get our bearings and rejuvenate ourselves. A stress skill that can help us rejuvenate ourselves and that can be done in most circumstances is deep breathing.
