The question is not whether we are experiencing stress. We all experience stress every day. The best question is how are we responding to and managing that stress?
Once we accept the daily reality of stress, we can envision the ways it can be effectively managed. With this vision we can take action to prevent unnecessary stress and increase tolerance for unavoidable stress!
People respond to stress in predictable ways. We are going to look first at the short- and long-term effects of stress. Then we will envision ways of increasing our stress tolerance.
