Continue reading

By TaeHun Yoon Tense and fierce, wild and loud,Exuberance erupts beneath the cloud. No mercy shown on emerald field,A hundred yards where giants wield. Ten men like black bears clash and dash,Following commands with thunderous flash—From minds that scheme with practiced … Continue reading

Fog
I sat facing the wall—yet saw a stream flowing by. Like mist unravelingacross a mountain’s waist—Yes… that’s how it is. Even the far-seeing eyemust be clouded nowby this faded longing. TaeHun Yoon July 22, 2023

Drought
Not a drought It is not dryness—but longing, overflowing. I tried to send it away, but there was nothing leftto release. As if I were parched,I tracedthe thirstlike tailoring cutsupon memory. Fearful of tomorrow,I gathered my voiceinto a singleshout—toward the placewhere truth … Continue reading

Antenna
Oh, how thirsty I am—When the moon comes running,Carrying whispers of news, Old songs rise in a noisy chorus,With both hands raised high— Like that,Stretching my neckBeyond the sky, Just to speakOne word:“Peace.” That longing…Always reaching. TaeHun Yoon July 20, … Continue reading

“Sound of a Bell”
Sound Opens A childopens the sound—and sound is seen. Above the blue sky,a sound unfolds. An old manopens his despair—and sound is seen. Into the dark-blue sea,a trembling street. One as two,a sound that cannot meet. From the green-blue sky,no … Continue reading

When Wings Unfold
It’s justa single white dot,and yet— Noise fades, the sky turns suddenly pure. From here to there, every color appears, yet it’s so transparent,it feels suspended—as if time itself has stopped. It’s like arrivingin another world.A hush falls over me. Then, if those … Continue reading

“A Forgotten Day”
In Times Like These, I Don’t Want to See Myself Yesterday awakened againfrom a memory long lost. When the wind blew, the trees above began to dance—just like always. And I, like a legend, followed with bated breath, clutching my chest in silence. I grew … Continue reading

Continue reading

Continue reading
