Thriving on Stress 6-(2) “LIFESTYLE CHANGES” by NAVY Stress Management

6.  LIFESTYLE CHANGES (2)

If we do not choose to take control of our stress response, then the continual wear and tear of our daily stress and strain degrades our physical and psychological fitness.

Over time, physical problems result from detrimental biochemical changes and a deterioration of preexisting physical weakness. Psychological problems result from the destructive physical, emotional, and social effects of prolonged stress. By managing our responses we increase our tolerance for stress and find more freedom, self-control, and success.
