Thunder

At the tip of a blade of grass
thunder came,
dangling like a knot of dew.

Within the widow’s midnight silence,
it flows—
a river, palms pressed together,
five thousand years long.

Create a painting inspired by the Korean poem rewrite, focusing on the imagery of a blade of grass trembling in the wind, a moonlit river, and the essence of enduring sorrow held in prayer.
